      Institución del dance en toda Europa y especialmente en Bélgica, con más de 10 años de carrera musical y un estilo de producción al que se han mantenido (y siguen manteniéndose) fieles en todo este tiempo. Su último single es "Don't Say Goodbye" (2014) y doy fe que sigue conservando la misma estructura de estribillos y bases. La lista de temas y álbumes es interminable.

      Y he aquí uno de los "temazos" en toda regla, cantado por Sylver, Lasgo y Milk Inc.. La actuación la hicieron en los TMF Awards de 2003, gran tema del señor Maxi Jazz (Faithless) interpretado por estas 3 reinas del Dance de la década '00.

      Permitidme el UP tan grande que voy a hacer, ya que se han recuperado estos hilos.

      Y me vais a permitir también una aportación algo extraordinaria, y es que aparte de las producciones puramente Milk Inc (mayoritariamente con la voz de Linda), los amigos Penxten y Vandueren también firmaron remixes con la marca Milk Inc. Sirva de ejemplo este Beautiful Child (2001) aunque a nosotros nos llegaría en 2003 bajo licencia de Tempo.

      Vuelvo a retomar el post para poner un imprescindible de la formación, el concierto de Sportpaleis en 2008. Dos horas para dejarme la voz con todo el Supersized al completo :thumbsup: . Además, es el único que he conseguido encontrar en casi-HD, cosa que se agradece con las pantallas de ahora :thumbup:



      Mis momento preferidos: Blind en el minuto 38 y Whisper en el 48, aunque ojo al dueto con Sylver en la 1:16:00. Seguro que me estoy dejando momentazos…

      Y de bonus track, Sleepwalker, que no venía en el anterior :D


      Yo no puedo pasar por esta vida sin ir a una de estas.

      Como el post es antiguo, se nos había pasado hacer una pequeña referencia a su último álbum en activo: Undercover (2013). Como bien se puede deducir, un disco de covers que, si bien está lejos del nivel TOP de la formación, sí tiene algunos detallitos a reseñar.

      De él salieron como singles: Miracle, que ya se mencionó más arriba y es bastante destacable; Sweet Child O'Mine, del que no me hace mucha gracia esa combinación de la guitarra original con esos "hachazos" a la melodía; Imagination, con un horroroso drop EDM incluido; y Last night a Dj saved my life, el único con vídeo:



      Por supuesto el disco tiene otros temas a destacar, como I just died in your arms tonight (mi favorita), una composición mucho más acorde con los estándares clásicos de la formación:


      Bette Davis Eyes, una re-interpretación más que decente:


      Y el ya mencionado Sweet Child O'Mine:


      Para los muy houseros está el Touch Me de Rui da SIlva; hay por ahí un Rain down love o un Fairytale Gone Bad, que a más de uno le puede gustar. Como nos conocemos, aviso: el que entre a criticar los covers, recuerde que está en el hilo de Milk Inc. Se las verá con @ReFu y conmigo :D

      Es Ann Vervoort, una de las vocalistas oficiales pre-linda. Digo oficiales porque según parece era front-woman y en realidad cantaba una tal Karine Boelaerts. Ann falleció en 2010 en turbias circunstancias.

      ¿Por qué hizo Linda de front-woman de la front-woman en el vídeo? Pues no lo sé en realidad. Supongo que el vídeo se lanzó a posteriori cuando Ann ya había abandonado la formación. A ver si ReFu, que ha conocido a muchos fans de Milk Inc. o alguno de los susodichos se pasan por aquí y nos resuelven la duda.

      Aprovechando el reflote, vamos a actualizar un poco. Parece que mi ilusión de vivir un concierto de Milk Inc. se quedará ahí. No parece que vayan a regresar. Si recordáis, la formación paralizó su actividad después del disco de covers cuando Linda anunció que iba a ser madre. Por desgracia, perdió al crío joven y no debió dejar ganas a la pobre de volver. Regi saca algo de vez en cuando, pero claro...

      Vaya post más triste me ha quedao, leche.

      Yo tambien soy fan de este fantastico grupo, y tambien me quedará la espina de verlos en concierto, ;(

      Estuve escuchando el videoclip y las actuaciones, y también la versión de la canción en Apocalypse Cow y Milk Inc. ‎– The Best Of, y es la misma cantante, por lo que Linda nunca saco ni grabo el tema otra vez, solo sale en el videoclip. Que raro se me hace ver a Linda y que no sea su voz la de la canción.
