Here at Axtone HQ weve been wondering what they are putting in the water (or should that be Vodka?) over in Russia these days? The last two years have seen the emergence of a number of superstar DJs & producers from our friends in the East.Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes are certainly leading the way alongside their compatriots & Axtone favorites, Arty, Matisse & Sadko.Swanky Tunes make their long awaited debut on Axtone with Here We Go, while for Hard Rock Sofa this brings them to a hat trick of releases following Blow Up and the earth shattering Quasar.Its fair to say these two sets of producers are somewhat prolific, whilst still managing to maintain a high barometer of quality. Between them theyve released on no less than Spinnin, Wall, Refune, Size and Musical Freedom.Sound wise Here We Go seems to be channeling the Big Beat era with its oversized beats and rolling acid line. Early DJ support has been strong with the likes of Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, Afrojack, Thomas Gold and Nicky Romero all playing this stadium sized behemoth.
