Steve Angello‘s Wild Youth is one of dance music’s most awaited albums in recent history; its path from vision to reality kicking into high gear post-SHM and till motoring towards a release. Making for the album’s lead single, Angello unleashes “Wasted Love” featuring The Temper Trap’s Dougy Mandagi on vocals.
The record is tasteful, uplifting electronica that works cohesively with its lyrical significance, a flavoring similar to the long-anticipated “Children Of The Wild” which had, until now, been rumored as the project’s first official single. With Wild Youth slated for a fall release on Columbia Records, “Wasted Love” is en route to turn the tides, already fitting the impending project’s motif which Steve describes deliberately:
“I want to write something that’s going to be part of my life forever. Every song, lyric has something to do with my childhood or my present time. Every song means something, every track is inspired by a time in my life.”
