He may be just 21 years old, but Thomas Newson’s maturity and ability in the studio is more like that of a man many years more experienced. With a wealth of releases under his belt despite his relatively short career, Newson continues to go from strength to strength as he rejoins Revealed for his latest track ‘Shakedown’. Building on the success of his previous works such as his recent Joey Dale collaboration ‘Timecode’ which wowed crowds at the start of the summer, ‘Shakedown’ perhaps his finest effort yet, and a perfect way to bid farewell to the warmer months.
Built around bouncy electro house builds, plucky synth riffs, and a quirky and utterly enormous main riff, ‘Shakedown’ might be familiar to those who’ve been out and about over the past few months. It seems this one was tailor-made to be festival friendly, and was hammered by countless names over the season, sending crowds wild each and every time it dropped. The fever surrounding ‘Shakedown’ is set to steam along well into the winter months, and stands Thomas Newson out as a producer who never rests on his laurels, continuing to hone his skills and impress his critics with every single release.
