Dutch deejay Nicky Romero still doesn’t rest even for a single minute. This past 2012 was undoubtedly his breaking year and this 2013 seems to continue to grow his worldwide success. After releasing his latest collaboration with Swedish producer Avicii in the vocal track “I Could Be the One” and produced with David Guetta the song “Right Now” for Rihanna’s latest album “Unapologetic“, the house music composer and producer attacks again the dance floor with his new weapon called “Still the Same Man“. The track has the collaboartion of fellows compatriots record producers John Christian and Nilson, all of them under the label Flamingo, Protocol and Toolroom Records, the latter shall be responsible for releasing the single during the month of February.
The track was exclusively premiered on BBC Radio 1 on January 19, 2013. A studio preview of the song was posted on Romero’s soundcloud on Januarty 23, 2013 and uses the sample of 1983 classic disco track “For the Same Man” original by B Beat Girls. This sample was used in the track “Same Man” by Till West and DJ Delicious which became a hit in Europe in 2006. Does the re-worked track will repeat the same success after only 7 years?
