Me compré el Mega Dance Hits en verano del 1994 en cassette (aunque posteriormente encontré la versión CD) principalmente por ser el primer disco que consideré "decente" que incluía "Right In The Night" de Jam & Spoon y secundariamente por "Let The Dream Come True" de DJ Bobo, "The Real Thing" de Tony Di Bart (no me había comprado el Megatron 2 -¿por qué? No sé, mira), "Guitar Spell" de DJ Sylvan (tampoco me compré el Ibiza Mix. ¿Igual tenía demasiada animadversión a Max?) o ¿posible primicia? "Outside World" de Sunbeam.
El disco venía a ser un "cosas acumuladas de lo que llevamos del 94" y por eso recurría a Corona, Cappella (ojo, remixes) y 2 Unlimited de BYN. Pero también teníamos a "Dreams" de 2 Brothers (ojo, remix), Jopan - Ghost, T-Spoon (gran, gran "Take Me 2 The Limit"), Twenty Four Seven por duplicado (aunque ninguno de los dos tracks era muy "histórico"), el megaéxito omnipresente Doop (remix USA de David Morales), Robin S con su fórmula habitual, el éxito de Blue Bamboo, un muy interesante "Spring!" de Phoney Fables o hasta dos temas de la moda "western-dance". En global, Arcade consiguió reunir en este disco un elenco muy bueno (obviamente con el tiempo ha ganado mucho y los remixes le aportan algo de especial), quizá solo la mancha del cover de The Grid de BMG Ariola. El megamix, bastante apañado, de Dimas y Martínez, que incluían su "Baila!" de Zentral y su mitiquísimo tema vocal "Get It Right" bajo el alias de Global Mission.
Daos cuenta también de la cantidad de recopilatorios "simultáneos" que tenía Arcade en esa temporada.
