      FORODANCE User Charts - Antes de 2006

      En espera de que los foreros se vayan animando a postear sus canciones favoritas de 2021, abro este hilo para darle vida al foro. Aunque llevamos haciendo nuestros resúmenes anuales desde que existe el foro en el año 2006, también tenemos nuestras canciones favoritas con anterioridad a dicho año.

      En mi caso, como producto de la adolescencia (supongo que no soy el único) realizaba mi propia lista semanal, tomando como referencia lo que sonaba en la radio (eran otros tiempos, sin la masificación de Internet). Casualmente, esta semana localicé el listado completo de las canciones que fueron nº1. El tiempo ha pasado manteniendo cosas que me gustan (Booty Luv o Shapeshifters) y otras que actualmente detesto (Gabry Ponte u O-Zone). Al margen de las que no supe valorar en su momento y que bien hubiesen merecido ser nº1 por delante de algunas. Sin embargo, como no me gusta reescribir o falsificar la historia, a modo de resumen de aquellos años, os comparto el listado de canciones que fueron nº1 en mi lista personal:

      Hacia 2007 por agotamiento e interés en otros estilos musicales, dejé de hacer la lista. Por lo demás, ¿os atrevéis a postear vuestros tops anuales de canciones favoritas con anterioridad a ForoDance (2005, 2004, 2003, 2002.....)? ¿Alguien realizaba lista personal y le apetece compartir los datos que guarde de la misma?       Pues aprovecho el post para recordar(me a mí mismo) la web que me dio por publicar allá a finales de 2004 y que duró hasta mediados de 2005, aunque luego seguí registrando temas en un Excel durante 2006 y 2007, en el mismo formato que en la web pero ya sin hacerlos públicos.

      No creo que nadie de los presentes pasara por aquí, así que os presento a Dance Factory, una web 1.0 alumbrada cuando ForoDance aún no se llamaba ForoDance pero un servidor tenía ansias de malgastar su tiempo en compartir información al mundo.





      Qué premonitorias estas palabras, ¿verdad? La presentación de esta web describe de forma bastante precisa lo que sería tiempo más tarde ForoDance, que, como foro, cumplía mucho mejor esa misión y tenía mucho más sentido que una web estática.

      Puede apreciarse el estilo "blog" con rollo macabeo (chico, pon unas imágenes o algo), el fondo minimalista a la vez que cargante, el layout pensado para una resolución de pantalla bajísima (la que había entonces) y las sobreexplicaciones acerca de qué iba todo esto. Yo iba a lo que iba, a compartir y recomendar música, no a entrar por los ojos. La página estuvo colgada en wanadoo, después gratisweb y finalmente en un hosting llamado fadlan.com (tener un dominio propio era de ricos). Estaba hecha con XML y XSL (OMG) y cargaba las secciones con Javascript: una entrañable aberración.

      El sistema era simple: en lugar de un chart, cada semana (lunes) había un número uno, siete destacados (sin ordenar) y un número indefinido de éxitos (también sin ordenar). Era más fácil de mantener que un chart y en aquel momento me parecía más original.

      Pero tenemos un problema, que es el siguiente (tonto, tonto rusticman): aparentemente no dejé registrados los números uno semana a semana durante la etapa pública de la web, solo aparecen comentados de forma textual en el histórico algunos de ellos:
