URBAN DANCE Vol. 12

      The German label Sony Music released on 10 April 2015, the brand new Urban Dance Vol. 12, now for many years a successful House compilation series. The latest edition includes 67 cutting-edge tracks, offering a huge selection for potential buyers. The official tracklist for the compilation was already published.

      The first CD the genre Dance Pop prevails significantly. It begins with the commercial chart hits from Calvin Harris feat. HAIM ("Pray to God"), Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo ("Time Of Our Lives"), Avicii ("The Nights"), and the sampler to the rather inappropriate song "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. In addition, many tracks are represented here, but which are at least in Germany so far rather little known. Here, for example, "Five More Hours" of Deorro X Chris Brown, "Samsara" by Tungevaag & Raaban or "Tropicali" Darius & Finlay of some great highlights. In addition, we may still brand new singles by DJane HouseKat Feat. Pinero ("Careless"), Mike Candys feat. Max'C ("Last Man On Earth") and Evelyn ("Your Love Is Mine") are pleased.

      The second disc is led by the still very successful Deep House. While the opener "Real Love" Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne not fit quite so in style, but lots of other tracks. Of course, should the current success Hits by Philipp Dittberner & Marv ("cloud 4"), Lost Frequencies ("Are You With Me") or Fritz Kalkbrenner ("Void") is not missing. The brand new singles from Disturbed But Geil & Koby Funk feat. Wincent Weiss ("Under my skin") or Charming Horses Feat. Emma Carn ("You And I") have found a place on the disk. If you like strong Deep House, is so disappointed in any way.

      Just a few editions, the third CD was always a DJ mix of a popular artist from the EDM area. But in the meantime, again 22 cutting-edge tracks are also easily available. These are mainly classified into genres Bigroom and Progressive House. We start with the strong tracks "virus (How About Now)" by Martin Garrix & Moti and "Sally" by Hardwell feat. Harrison. The new hits by Sean Finn ("The Rhythm Of The Night"), Nicky Romero & Vicetone feat. When We Are Wild ("Let Me Feel") or Blasterjaxx feat. Rosette ("No Place Like Home") must be missing here. Moreover, we can still look forward to strong remixes to "Break The Rules" by Charli XCX or "Take U There" by Jack Ü.

      Overall, the latest Urban Dance has a big Hitdichte and a huge selection of current house tracks. The purchase here so definitely worth it. A Minimix to the compilation there is not yet unfortunately. But as soon as this follows, the item will again get of course an update.

      Das deutsche Label Sony Music veröffentlicht am 10. April 2015 die brandneue Urban Dance Vol. 12, die seit Jahren eine erfolgreiche House Compilation-Reihe darstellt. Die neueste Ausgabe beinhaltet 67 topaktuelle Tracks und bietet somit eine riesige Auswahl für die potentiellen Käufer. Die offizielle Tracklist zu der Compilation wurde bereits jetzt veröffentlicht.

      Auf der ersten CD herrscht das Genre Dance Pop deutlich vor. So beginnt sie mit den kommerziellen Charthits von Calvin Harris feat. HAIM ("Pray to God"), Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo ("Time Of Our Lives"), Avicii ("The Nights") sowie dem zum Sampler eher unpassenden Song "Uptown Funk" von Mark Ronson und Bruno Mars. Daneben sind hier aber auch viele Tracks vertreten, die zumindest in Deutschland bisher eher wenig bekannt sind. Dabei sind beispielsweise "Five More Hours" von Deorro X Chris Brown, "Samsara" von Tungevaag & Raaban oder "Tropicali" von Darius & Finlay einige große Highlights. Außerdem dürfen wir uns noch auf brandneue Singles von DJane Housekat Feat. Pinero ("Careless"), Mike Candys feat. Max’C ("Last Man On Earth") oder Evelyn ("Your Love Is Mine") freuen.

      Die zweite Disc wird vom immer noch sehr erfolgreichen Deep House angeführt. Zwar passt der Opener "Real Love" von Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne nicht ganz so in den Stil, die restlichen Tracks dafür umso mehr. Natürlich dürfen dabei die aktuellen Erfolgshits von Philipp Dittberner & Marv ("Wolke 4"), Lost Frequencies ("Are You With Me") oder Fritz Kalkbrenner ("Void") nicht fehlen. Auch die brandneuen Singles von Gestört Aber Geil & Koby Funk feat. Wincent Weiss ("Unter Meiner Haut") oder Charming Horses Feat. Emma Carn ("You And I") haben einen Platz auf der Scheibe gefunden. Wer auf starken Deep House steht, wird hier also auf keinen Fall enttäuscht.

      Noch vor wenigen Ausgaben war die dritte CD immer ein DJ Mix eines beliebten Künstlers aus dem EDM-Bereich. Doch in der Zwischenzeit werden hier auch einfach noch einmal 22 topaktuelle Tracks angeboten. Diese sind hauptsächlich in die Genres Bigroom und Progressive House einzuordnen. Den Anfang machen die starken Tracks "Virus (How About Now)" von Martin Garrix & MOTi und "Sally" von Hardwell feat. Harrison.       Insgesamt überzeugt die neueste Urban Dance durch eine große Hitdichte und einer riesigen Auswahl an aktuellen House Tracks. Der Kauf lohnt sich hier also auf jeden Fall. Einen Minimix zu der Compilation gibt es leider noch nicht. Sobald dieser aber folgt, wird der Artikel selbstverständlich nochmal ein Update bekommen.
